BRAND CONTEXT

The story,
before the shelf.

Founded in Shenzhen in 2017, Govee started with a simple idea: smart ambient lighting shouldn’t cost hundreds of dollars or require complicated installation. The brand launched its first smart LED strip in 2018, and quickly grew by focusing on easy setup, preset color scenes, and budget-friendly pricing.
Today, Govee products are sold in over 60 countries, popular among renters, gamers, and young homeowners who want to add atmosphere to their space without a full smart home upgrade. The brand now offers everything from TV backlights and outdoor string lights to holiday projection lights, with new products released regularly.
